A wedding guest at dusk at Migis Lodge wedding in Maine

I don’t often post vertical images…but when I do….they have won a coveted Gold Medallion award from the WPJA (Wedding photojournalist association). Gold = Every single judge picked it amongst thousands of photographers around the world with work I admire. Humbled and pumped.

Bride and groom portrait at Arlington town hall

portrait of bride and groom in arlington town hall outside of boston, ma.

These two live and breath Arlington, Ma. Both connected to the high school and live only a block from the town hall, where they celebrated.  A quick portrait that I hope will remind them in the future of their venue, and having a second alone to catch their breath.

A Stonehurst wedding

bride and groom with guests posed outside stonehurst robert treat paine estate wedding.

The longer I photograph weddings (10 years now!) and despite my love of funky, artistic, documentary imagery....the more I come to believe that an image like this may be one of the most historically meaningful images captured on a wedding day.  If you can manage a photograph with every guest in attendance...do it.
