Pre-Wedding Fueling at PAGU Restaurant in Cambridge, MA

wedding-prep-fuel-pagu-restaurant-wedding-cambridge.jpg

I tend to fall in love with these little still life vignettes on a wedding day.  Tiny microcosms of found details that are always so personalized for each couple, and I truly believe many memories will be stirred by images such as this when viewed in 10 years...."oh yeah...Crab Rangoon's!!"  "Remember when coconut water was a thing?!

Aldworth Manor Wedding Photography

Cam and Kathrine's New Hampshire Celebration

These two delightful humans were the first EVER wedding held at the stunning Aldworth Manor.  Mark my words, this venue will explode in popularity in the next year.  It provided the perfect backdrop for their two families to mingle, laugh, play lawn games....and yes, dodge the rain for about 30 mins.  The day was filled with every type of light a photographer loves.  Crisp bright sunlight, diffuse clouds, epic rain downpour complete with thunder, and that soft moody post storm light during the dimming evening sun.  These two took it all in stride and truly had a blast on their day.  One of my favorite memories was finding kids digging out from under the bar their top secret stash of candy and snacks.  Secondly, was Cam's perfectly executed first kiss....clearly the passionate french lineage shining through.  Enjoy the images.

Menton Restaurant Wedding

menton restaurant wedding

A restaurant wedding at Menton

Some weddings just seem to match the couple perfectly.  This was one of those occasions, and it was such fun to watch Jennie and Paul host their friends and family for an epic wedding/dinner celebration at Menton.  The only sad part of the day was finding out the my past groom James (who cooks there) wasn't around that evening, so I will have to go back to see him in action.  The day started with a casual stroll around their neighborhood of Beacon Hill, and progressed through an untold number of courses of delicious, perfectly prepared food.  I know they were great, because Jennie and Paul treated me to each and every one.  Yum.  I hope you enjoy the images.

Endicott Estate Wedding Celebration

Bride prepping for her wedding at the Endicott Estate

Brittany + Jesse at the Endicott Estate

This lovely day served as the stateside "official party" and reception for Brittany and Jesse.  They chose to elope over the winter at a magical tropical destination for which I have (mostly) forgiven them for not bringing me along, haha.  They were both SO relaxed, choosing to make their day entirely about friends, family and being present of mind to fully enjoy.  I loved witnessing their interactions, and was honored to document their day.   Take a lil' peek at their stop motion video to get a big overview of the day.

Energetic Intercontinental Hotel Wedding

bride and groom portrait at the intercontinental

Elena and Stan's wedding at the Intercontinental on the Boston waterfront

From start to finish I loved every interaction I had with these two lovely people.  I mean, right this second, they are in my home state of Alaska for their honeymoon (side note:  my second couple this year headed there! rock.)  Their "child" Henry the Frenchie (french bulldog) was only around to bear witness to the ceremony, but clearly stole the show.  Everyone had a blast rocking the horah to the music of the Alexis Band.  Thank you both, and to all the friends and family that made this day so fun and special.  Enjoy.

Special thanks to Paul Melino and Karly Danais at the Intercontinental for perfect coordination and helping Stan and Elena pull off a flawless wedding.  Flowers were done by Carol Silverston of The Original Touch, and the evening was rocked out by The Alexis Band who were brilliant performers.

Eastern Point Yacht Club Wedding

Eastern Point Yacht Club Wedding Tent

Heather and Sean's Wedding Day at the Eastern Point Yacht Club in Gloucester.

Heather and Sean hail from sunny California, venturing into the Northeast for their lovely coastal Yacht Club wedding.  Heather is basically a big time news anchor in LA, and Sean shares an affinity (LOVE!) of surfing with me (Except he is REALLY good).  Oh, and Heather didn't let it get to her at all when she managed to BREAK her ankle and foot doing Crossfit a few days before the wedding.  Nothing was going to hold her back from having a wonderful day....plus is meant that she was carried everywhere by Sean, haha.  I had a blast with these two and I hope you enjoy.

NYC City Hall - Frank & Steve

NYC City Wedding

NYC City Wedding

A New York City Hall Elopement

Frank and Steve treated me to my first City Hall experience.  They were both overly stylish, and exuded warmth and love for one another.  I enjoyed every second spent with them.  The city hall experience stripped away many of the extraneous details of a traditional wedding....and left us surrounded by the pure joy and happiness of over 100 couples and families coming together.  It was intoxicating.

A Boston Colonnade Hotel Wedding

Caitlin_and_Tony_Boston_Wedding_573

Wedding at St Cecilia's Church, then reception at the Colonnade Hotel in Boston.

Caitlin and Tony were so relaxed, so much in love, and such gracious hosts to everyone on their wedding day.  The day was filled with tons of laughter and signing (all of Tony's family are wildly musical), which made the already smooth day that much more exciting.  We took a lovely tour around boston and MIT area, complete with a stop in front of Tony's new building he engineered.  Thank you to everyone that made this day so special for them, and I hope you enjoy.
