Engagement sessions should entail lots of cuddling. Especially if the way you enjoy life is exploring and strolling through the woods together. I love incorporating a documentary approach even into engagement/portraiture sessions as doing an activity results in more natural moments.

Of course, in every engagement session many "formal" or classic portraits are made. Often used for NYT announcements, websites, or invitations. But, I always encourage people to just have fun, and let their personalities or relationship be documented. These two were super nerdy, super goofy, and had a blast.
Anyone fancy a stroll along Boston's waterfront? Kerrin, Jeff and their adorable pooch Melody showed me their neighborhood and surrounding areas. Had a blast with these three!
Boom! Energy coming at you!
These two had way too much fun on their engagement shoot, and I'll let the images do the talking.
A Cambridge Engagement Photography Shoot
Tammy and Jason opted to start their session at the Kendall Cinema, a place near and dear to them, and a killer place to photograph. I had such a peaceful and fun time strolling the streets of the Kendal area with them. We hit up a few of their favorite places to spend time together and are meaningful to their relationship, including The Blue Room (who brought them out complementary wine!) and Lord Hobo to wrap things up. Hope you enjoy
Kate and Joe took me back to my old stomping grounds of East Boston. Their condo is even in the same building I lived in! Such a fun session, with a cute pooch and epic sunset.
