This is the view directly overhead from where the cocktail hour was, and I felt it represented well the fact that both the Bride and Groom are both architects.
It’s the new norm! Uber or Lyft has revolutionized how many of my couples get around on their wedding days.
I am obviously not one for staged images, or tons of “detail” shots. But this was hilarious, and was designed by the bride, whom I believe also sewed the bottle outfits. It’s a “found detail”…meaning I didn’t rearrange anything, but felt that it captured some fun filled side of the bride and grooms personalities.
This! This is what I love looking for throughout wedding days. This is how your friends supported you, laughed and enjoyed the day while you were pulled in a million directions. I love documenting this side of the story.
Don’t worry. Since the bride had a nearly 1/4 mile entrance into the ceremony, I also photographed her coming up the isle, and a million other angles as well, haha.
However….this is my favorite composition, since this is her dear friend (and a big time Nashville rock star) playing an incredible guitar solo for her walk with her father into the ceremony
When you are a city girl, and walking to your favorite restaurant for your wedding….the city reflections are your mirror to check makeup.
