Stevens Estate Wedding Stopmotion Film

A sneak look into Emily and Mike's wedding day!  A stopmotion film made with the still images photographed throughout the day.  Mike was one of the most outwardly excited (to get married) grooms this year (reminded me of myself a bit), and these two just smiled whenever they locked eyes throughout the celebration.  I had a blast with them and their families.  Enjoy

An Overbrook House Wedding in Bourne, MA

Groomsmen in Pool

James and Andrew celebrated their wedding at the Overbrook House in Bourne, MA.

I found myself surrounded by the couple's amazing friends, and loving family coming together at every moment of this wedding.  It was a wonderful celebration to be witness to, and the setting was stunning.  A spot of rain on the day timed so it didn't interfere with anything, and was barely noticed by anyone, as everyone was utterly focused on James and Andrew's marriage.  So many wonderful details, and so much collective work from everyone went into making this day special.  Home made cookies....and ALL of the flowers were even grown in the couples garden!  It was a blast, and an honor to document.  I hope you enjoy the images.

ISPWP Award Winner - Top 3

Award winner

I was thrilled and honored to have one of my images place 3rd, amongst an untold number of entries around the world, for the International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers (of which I am a member) most recent contest.  I have had images place in the past, but never top 3, so this is....well, fun!

A wedding at Belmont Audubon Wildlife Preserve

wedding cake with reflection

Nicole and Aaron celebrated al fresco style for their wedding in Belmont at the Mass Audubon Education Center and Wildlife Sanctuary.

A place near and dear to me, as well as where I drag many of my engaged couples that want to stroll through nature.  These two lovely people surrounded themselves with even more lovely people to have a relaxed and beautiful day.  The amount of outward love and affection was palpable, and matched only by the enthusiasm for the temporary tattoo bar (big hit!), and the various lawn games.  Dancing broke free of the inside dance floor in the evening, spurred probably by the sugar rush from the Union Square Donut bar, haha.  It was an honor to document the day and I hope you enjoy.

Belmont Habitat Education Center Stop Motion Wedding

As a little sneak glimpse into Aaron and Nicole's wedding day, I offer up a stop motion video (I am still experimenting with these) comprised of many of the frames I photographed from their celebration.  Fun elements you will catch consist of: Loads of love from family and friends, an al fresco dinner, frisbee games, giant jenga block, a donut bar...and even a tattoo bar (temporary, don't worry).  Enjoy.

Commander's Mansion Watertown Wedding

wedding cocktails

Lisa and Jared's wedding at the historic Commander's Mansion in Watertown

These two did it right.  TWO! yes, two....cocktail hours.  One before the ceremony, and one following!  They perfectly curated an amazing drink list, including beers from Tree House, Lordo Hobo, Alchemist (Heady topper is one of my favorites of all time), and Lawson's Finest Liquids.  They even had the entire wedding toast the start of the reception with hand crafted Mead they found on one of their first dates.  The historic grounds of the mansion provided a beautiful and intimate ceremony as the guests circled around them.  Reception was complete with whole roasted pig and a slew of fun desserts, including the Frozen Hoagie food truck.  Rock.  I loved spending time with these two, as they were helped through the day by two of my past wedding couples!  Enjoy.

Portsmouth Mombo Restaurant Wedding

Bride and Groom portrait in Portsmouth New Hampshire

Stawberry Banke Museum Wedding and Mombo Reception

I work with many relaxed clients.  Calm. Collected... and just focused on trying to be present.  Chelsea and Tim may have been my most chill couple....EVER.  Not only was it in their nature, but every single person at this wedding was SO laid back, and utterly focused on having a great day and supporting the marriage of these two wonderful people.  The Strawberry Banke Museum provided a stunning backdrop to the outdoor ceremony, and the food and service at Mombo restaurant was top notch.  Thanks to everyone I met, and everyone that made this day so sweet.  Enjoy

Cambridge - Boston - City Hall Elopement Wedding

cambridge city hall same sex wedding elopement

Ally and Alexis eloped at Cambridge city hall.

I know I already said how excited these two lovebirds were....but they were SO happy.  I loved so many aspects of the few hours we spent together, our walk, our Uber ride, their ceremony under the tree...and mostly when they had prepared their vows as cards to one another to read immediately after being married.  We ended by hopping the 'T' to their first date location of Shay's in Harvard Square, and I was honored to bear witness to their care and love for one another.  Enjoy.

York Harbor Reading Room Wedding

hartley mason reserve beach wedding

Hal and Geoff's touching and beautiful wedding day in York, Maine.

I know I could fill an entire paragraph with just one word descriptions of all the fun events and moments from this wedding.  Suffice it to say I enjoyed spending the weekend with these two, and meeting their friends and family (many visiting for the first time from the midwest).  The events started at Hal's family's home/barn (which they basically had to restore) for the rehearsal dinner.  Then, many of the guests were up at the crack of dawn for coffee and SLUICING!  Yes, sluicing.  New to me (and you better believe I jumped in) this involves jumping from the bridge into water on one side of a road, and during the morning tidal shifting water, you get sucked/shot through the "sluice" or tunnel under the road.  It was a blast.

The wedding day begin at the York Harbor Inn, then proceeded to the Harley Mason Reserve for a wedding ceremony overlooking the ocean and beach.  A stunning and peaceful setting for Hal's father (a retired Episcopal priest) to officiate the marriage.  The staff went above and beyond in every way at the Reading Room for the reception, and yikes, did this crew turn the evening into a dance/club scene at the end of the dinner.  #fun  I was honored to document this day, and thanks to all the friendly faces I met along the way.

York Harbor Maine Wedding

Hal and Geoff introduced me (and guests) to the tradition of 'sluicing'...jumping off the bridge and having the tide shoot you through the tunnel under the road.  Epic.  Their wedding was filled with fun, support, and emotion.  Enjoy this glimpse into their wedding day at the York Harbor Reading Room (their staff, service and food were the best around!).  Don't forget to change the quality of the video if it starts low!
