4th of July Wedding - Oceancliff hotel

Katie and Ryan's Oceancliff Hotel Wedding in Newport, RI

They dubbed it their "Co-dependence Day"...and rang in 4th of July amongst dear friends and family overlooking a perfect sunset, complete with fireworks.   Preparations started in Newport at the Garrison Inn and took us along the cliffs towards Oceancliff for their reception.  Katie blew me away (and many others) when she surprised Ryan with a song (having secretly learned Ukulele) during the ceremony.  Tears and laughter everywhere.  So much fun.  A special thanks to the team at Oceancliff for coordinating a smooth day, and for Jeff and Amanda from Ready Set Film for doing video and being fun and easy to work with.

Cambridge City Hall Elopement

Ally and Alexis were SO excited.  I loved being around their playfulness, and watching how they were constantly taking care of one another.  More words later, but for now...a sneak peek/overview of their elopement at Cambridge City Hall.  Change the quality if it auto starts on low!

I wish I had the perfect song to dedicate to these two music buffs.  It was terribly perfect for Kristin to process down the isle to Eddie Vedder.  It was wonderful to see how EXCITED their friends were for these two to finally get hitched.  Most of the guests had known them both since childhood and the support from them and their families made for a laughter filled, and heartfelt day.  The team at the Hellenic Center in Ipswich helped orchestrate a perfect and smooth day.  Enjoy.

Leslie and Jay had FUN on their wedding day.  Their doggie was one of the most chill animals I have met (except if there was food around)....and just plain adorable.  These two lovely humans were just plain excited to be married, and their friends and family couldn't have supported them more.  I will perhaps never forget the group hug immediately after the ceremony.  Such joy.  Enjoy the glimpse into their day.

Hellenic Center Stop Motion Video

This weekend I had the pleasure of spending the day photographing Kristin and Brian's celebration.  In lieu of a standard handful of images that serve as a sleek peek, I offer up something new.  A stop motion video made from many of the horizontal frames I took at their wedding at the Hellenic Center in Ipswich, MA.  I hope you enjoy this style of insight into their day, and stay tuned, as I have a few more in the works that contain every frame from an entire wedding.

These are two of the most laid back people you will meet.  Tiana didn't fuss or blink an eye even after having her ear burnt off by a curling iron.  Nothing could ruffle her, or her focus on having a good time and getting married to Jay.  I will let the photos below sum up the goofy/fun side of these two...and it was amazing to once again find myself surrounded by so many family members and guests I knew from weddings past.  Enjoy.

Are Natasha and Phil gorgeous?  Yes.  Are they also madly in love? Yes.  Did they get a 2 min standing ovation at the end of their ceremony, surrounded by wonderful friends and family?  Most definitely.  Obviously I enjoyed my time with these two, and I can't say enough brilliant things about the staff and team at the Lenox.  They go WAY above and beyond for every client, and a special thanks to Alison for leading the charge.  Enjoy.

Two of the kindest people around!  When I mentioned that my wife Connie may be able to join me for the weekend in Maine, they immediately invited her to their wedding!  Just like that, they wanted to include her so she wouldn't be alone that evening.  They then proceeded to surround themselves with tons of genuine friendships and two seriously loving families coming together.  I had a wonderful time needless to say.  Oh, and they both work at Hubspot...so naturally they had to machine weld the hubspot logo into a giant neckless.  I mean, who wouldn't?!  #inboundfun

Erin and Jason celebrated their ceremony at St. Julia in Weston, moving to the lovely Lyman Estate (did you know it was formerly called The Vale?) in Waltham, Massachusetts for the reception.   Easily one of my favorite venues around Boston.  It was an honor to photograph and be amongst so many wonderful people at this wedding.  So many laughs (Jason and brothers were constantly hamming it up), and so many tears brought on by Erin's parents singing.  Such talent and such love.
