A winter Hawthorne Hotel wedding

Hawthorne Hotel Wedding Ballroom

Dana and Kati celebrated...and I mean SUPER HAPPY CELEBRATED their wedding at the Hawthorne Hotel in Salem, MA.

I can't believe this blogpost is coming so late, as I got caught up in the winter months...probably endlessly shoveling my driveway.   Anyways...it is always an honor to photograph for a fellow photographer (Dana), and I absolutely loved being around these two.  They quite simply loved to be themselves, be a little goofy, and laugh A LOT with their friends and family.  Enjoy the glimpse into their day, and check out the full gallery below

Energetic Intercontinental Hotel Wedding

bride and groom portrait at the intercontinental

Elena and Stan's wedding at the Intercontinental on the Boston waterfront

From start to finish I loved every interaction I had with these two lovely people.  I mean, right this second, they are in my home state of Alaska for their honeymoon (side note:  my second couple this year headed there! rock.)  Their "child" Henry the Frenchie (french bulldog) was only around to bear witness to the ceremony, but clearly stole the show.  Everyone had a blast rocking the horah to the music of the Alexis Band.  Thank you both, and to all the friends and family that made this day so fun and special.  Enjoy.

Special thanks to Paul Melino and Karly Danais at the Intercontinental for perfect coordination and helping Stan and Elena pull off a flawless wedding.  Flowers were done by Carol Silverston of The Original Touch, and the evening was rocked out by The Alexis Band who were brilliant performers.

A beautiful Saphire Estate Wedding

Wedding Preparations at Four Points Norwood

Alison and Peter's wedding day

There were SO many reasons to love this wedding...but a standout was reconnecting with so many familiar faces.  I photographed the wedding of Peter's sister over 6 years ago (they now have 2 tots!) and it was amazing seeing their entire family again.  Secondly, in the crowd was Peter's cousin and fiancé, whom I will be photographing in only 2 months....so I will again get to party with many familiar faces.

Now...all that took a backseat to how relaxed and in LOVE Alison and Peter were.  They were such fun to be around...and really enjoyed spending their day together.  Preparations took place at the new Four Points Sheraton in Norwood....departing to the Borderland State Park for their first look, portraits and playtime with the bridal party.  Their ceremony and reception were in great hands at the Saphire Estate in Sharon (part of the Saphire Event Group).

I had a wonderful time and thanks to everyone for such an amazing day.  Enjoy

A Wedding at the Artists for Humanity Epicenter

Modern and Urban wedding in Boston, MA

Mona and Josh's wintery wedding

Mona first came to me as a referral from a friend saying "your images made me cry"...basically the biggest compliment. Every wedding day presents itself as a glorious celebration of love, fun and emotion....and Mona and Josh's did this in spades.  Such a clear and loving connection between these two, I was constantly catching them zoning out from their surroundings and just focusing on one another.  Beautiful.  Then, Josh had demanded The Awesome (the band, and aptly named) rock their 80's covers the entire night and they killed it. Such a fun way to spend my day and couldn't be more honored to be there to document the moments.  Enjoy.

A wedding at the State Room in Boston

ames-hotel-wedding-prep

The wedding of Amy and Arthur

I feel so lucky to fall in love with each of my couples.  Not in a weird way...but just a bit.  Amy was over the moon the entire day...fully appreciating the excitement of the moment in a way few do.  Arthur played it cool, but behind the scenes was just plain in awe of Amy and the love they so clearly shared together.  It was a day filled with tons of laughter and I was so honored to document their wedding day.  Enjoy.

Four Seasons Boston Wedding

Matt and Lauren are the sweetest, wildest, funniest pair I have been around in a long while. Their wedding was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston, to which they introduced a new level of fun into the environment.

Yes it was black tie, and yes they had mustache glasses on for most of the day, and yes, Matt and Lauren choreographed their own hip hop dance complete with confetti cannon! Boom!

Also, a special thanks to my bro (Vince) for helping to photograph this wedding with me. Love ya. Also, perfect wedding coordination by the staff at the Four Seasons.

Eastern Point Yacht Club Wedding

Eastern Point Yacht Club Wedding Tent

Heather and Sean's Wedding Day at the Eastern Point Yacht Club in Gloucester.

Heather and Sean hail from sunny California, venturing into the Northeast for their lovely coastal Yacht Club wedding.  Heather is basically a big time news anchor in LA, and Sean shares an affinity (LOVE!) of surfing with me (Except he is REALLY good).  Oh, and Heather didn't let it get to her at all when she managed to BREAK her ankle and foot doing Crossfit a few days before the wedding.  Nothing was going to hold her back from having a wonderful day....plus is meant that she was carried everywhere by Sean, haha.  I had a blast with these two and I hope you enjoy.

Same Sex Provincetown Wedding

p-town celebration

Wade and Steven's wedding was beautiful.

Emotional. Touching. Stylish. Real. Honest

....and a heck of a lot of fun.  I know I say a lot that I love my clients as well as their friends and family, but these two were surrounded by endless tears the entire weekend.  They started things off in Provincetown with a dragqueen show of the one and only Miss Richfield 1981 along with cocktails (oh, and Wade secretly learned, wrote, and performed a Ukulele song for Steven).  The wedding ceremony was intimate, with everyone standing around them and then off to an amazing dinner at the The Red Inn before ending the night at the famous Boatslip for a Tea Dance.  Loved every second of this, enjoy the pictures.
