Yep...it's real

bride looks at grooms ring at charles river museum of industry and innovation in waltham, ma

Almost everyone sneaks a look at the newly placed wedding ring.  Either upon their own finger, or their partners.  I love when I catch this moment as it represents the newness of that moment.

Wedding Ceremony at Stonehurst Estate

father of the bride at stonehurst robert treat paine estate wedding

On wedding days it seems to flux between lightspeed, go go go....and bouts of stillness and waiting.  Here, the father of the groom was peacefully awaiting to be called to walk down the isle for the ceremony, and I felt that this image could have been captured at almost any point in history.  He just fit the space.  Historic and timeless.

A little still life of wedding elements

bridesmaid holds shoes next to bride at charles river museum wedding in waltham, ma

I felt like this was a soft bit of photographic poetry.  Hopefully saying something different to each person, but also capturing the freedom of slipping off your shoes after the wedding ceremony and giving hugs to the bride and groom as everyone gathers.
