Boston Lenox Hotel Wedding

wedding prep at lenox bridal suite

A wedding at the Lenox hotel in downtown Boston

Are Natasha and Phil gorgeous?  Yes.  Are they also madly in love? Yes.  Did they get a 2 min standing ovation at the end of their ceremony, surrounded by wonderful friends and family?  Most definitely.  Obviously I enjoyed my time with these two, and I can't say enough brilliant things about the staff and team at the Lenox.  They go WAY above and beyond for every client, and a special thanks to Alison for leading the charge.  Enjoy.

Energetic Intercontinental Hotel Wedding

bride and groom portrait at the intercontinental

Elena and Stan's wedding at the Intercontinental on the Boston waterfront

From start to finish I loved every interaction I had with these two lovely people.  I mean, right this second, they are in my home state of Alaska for their honeymoon (side note:  my second couple this year headed there! rock.)  Their "child" Henry the Frenchie (french bulldog) was only around to bear witness to the ceremony, but clearly stole the show.  Everyone had a blast rocking the horah to the music of the Alexis Band.  Thank you both, and to all the friends and family that made this day so fun and special.  Enjoy.

Special thanks to Paul Melino and Karly Danais at the Intercontinental for perfect coordination and helping Stan and Elena pull off a flawless wedding.  Flowers were done by Carol Silverston of The Original Touch, and the evening was rocked out by The Alexis Band who were brilliant performers.

A Wedding at the Artists for Humanity Epicenter

Modern and Urban wedding in Boston, MA

Mona and Josh's wintery wedding

Mona first came to me as a referral from a friend saying "your images made me cry"...basically the biggest compliment. Every wedding day presents itself as a glorious celebration of love, fun and emotion....and Mona and Josh's did this in spades.  Such a clear and loving connection between these two, I was constantly catching them zoning out from their surroundings and just focusing on one another.  Beautiful.  Then, Josh had demanded The Awesome (the band, and aptly named) rock their 80's covers the entire night and they killed it. Such a fun way to spend my day and couldn't be more honored to be there to document the moments.  Enjoy.

A wedding at the State Room in Boston

The wedding of Amy and Arthur

I feel so lucky to fall in love with each of my couples.  Not in a weird way...but just a bit.  Amy was over the moon the entire day...fully appreciating the excitement of the moment in a way few do.  Arthur played it cool, but behind the scenes was just plain in awe of Amy and the love they so clearly shared together.  It was a day filled with tons of laughter and I was so honored to document their wedding day.  Enjoy.

Four Seasons Hotel

Ed and Hena treated me to a stunning day filled with their love for one another.  The found Seasons Hotel in Boston served as the venue for their event, complete with a special room for the kids to play in!  I admit I half wanted to hang in there and eat the mini-burgers.  Enjoy

State Room Wedding

Lee and Tom's State Room Wedding

Where to begin with Lee and Tom's wedding?!  Firstly, I tend to dislike the term "same sex wedding" since, to me, it is just a wedding filled with love like any other.  But, it is different, and things are changing and it IS special because it adds a level of emotion and historicalness to an event that hasn't always been possible for everyone.  Anyways, the slightly geeky side of me loved their game room with Settlers of Catan, and the science experiment they did for their ceremony...and dare I say Tom custom coded a iPad application for their guest to find their table seating assignments.  Such a wonderful couple and I enjoyed every second spent with them.  A special thank you for Bernadette of 14 stories planning for pulling it all together for them.  Always a joy to work next to her and her team.  Enjoy.
