Groom prep

groom sits in rocking chair on porch before getting ready for his wedding at path of life sculpture garden

It is always fun to see how different people deal with the aniticipation, excitement, and downtime before getting married.  I loved that Andrew rocked on the porch while friends arrived.

Baby times at a Charles River Museum wedding

Baby sleeps during reception at Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation.

I always giggle, and can't help but snap a photo when I see a classic multitasking parent.  Over the years, many iterations of mom or dad holding wine, beer (multiple beers!), while rocking a little one have been been captured.  Coincidentally, these two hail from Alaska (my home state) and made the epic journey to support Justine and Marc's recent wedding along the Charles at the Museum of industry and innovation.

Final details and coordination

IMG_1332.JPG

It doesn't matter if there are 50 guests at your wedding, or 450.  In my experience there are still too many details, and moving prices. These days, the cell phone manages to hold things together, and I hope this image reminds Steve in 15 years of what he was feeling as he helped organize family before the wedding.
